About Fashion Week
As Copenhagen Fashion Week (Autumn/Winter 2018 AW18) begins Copenhagen Fashion Festival for 2018, we're expecting another awesome event! It's bi-annual and open to all visitors - you just need to check the site for tickets and the calendar of events. It’s the biggest in the Nordic region and the best place to find out what the latest trends are and who are the upcoming talents in Denmark. You can also have a sneak preview at what is going to be big next season. If you like to dress the part then get your fashion on!!
See Scandinavian designers take Fashion Week to the next level with their distinct take on street clothes, haute couture and everything in between. Check out the events that they have on, some are even free! How is it different? Here's what they say...
"Danish and international, new and established, classy and street… upwards of 1,100 exhibitors representing more than 2,500 international collections in all categories of style."
What's on - Copenhagen Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2018 Events
There are plenty of parties, and of course catwalks, but there are also a series of talks and a platform for other fashion items. Check out some of the interviews online to find city guides, chatrooms, interviews, and discussions on all things fashion related, such as the future of ocean made fabric from the ‘slow’ fashion.
There is also underwear and jewellery exhibited during fashion week, so it’s also a great place to check out and buy!
The first events on 27th January are the New Talent Scene and the “Designer’s Nest” - this is the place to see the new talent! There’s an official Opening Dinner which is from 5.30-9pm and then the first official opening show is “Oh! By Kopenhagen Fur”
The hot ticket event not to miss is the “Designspotting with Boozt.com" at Radisson Blu Royal. This is where the new Danish Design brands will be showcasing and a platform for new talent. This is a ticketed event so check the website for the RSVP details.
If you’re looking for a party then check out 1st February party - “Shhh - Don’t Tell My Booker” which is a party aimed at the lovely people in the fashion business. It’s free entrance until midnight and opens at 10pm.
The closing party for CPFW 2018 AW is 3rd February and hosted by Kenzo and Sweden Models Agency at 11.30pm at ARCH. You’re invited!!
A Party Everyone Can Attend!
Copenhagen Fashion Week 2018 is holding their opening press launch in City Hall Square. That means that you don’t need to be a VIP to attend. Anyone who wants to hear what’s going on can turn up in the square and find out. They will be using giant screens to show the latest runway collections so we can all get to see them!
If the actual shows are not your thing then check out the alternative events away from the runway - there are of course parties to attend, exhibitions, shopping events and there will be some live music and DJ events taking place - including street parties.
