Now in its 17th year, Vinterjazz (2-25th February) kicks off the jazz calendar for Denmark, attracting established world-famous jazz musicians and the up and coming talent during its 24 day celebration of cool.
Plenty of musicians to choose from
If you love music, then join one of 600 hundred gigs being held, not only in Copenhagen’s well-known venues, but also at clubs and concert halls around the country including in Aalborg and Bornholm. The big names
With a whole load of different Jazz Jams taking place, some of the highlights this year include Master Fatmans Jazzskole, Vilm Med Jazz, Excelsior, DR Big Bane & Palle Mikkelbord, and J.Jaanmai Duo. Along with international bands there is also plenty of local talent! We’re looking forward to enjoying concerts from Maluba Orchestra, Sisters of Jazz, Lars Danielsson and many more!

VINTERJAZZ 2018
One of the most exciting festivals to take place in Copenhagen each winter, don’t miss out on Vinterjazz 2018 (2 -25 February). This winter jazz festival kicks off the calendar with an astounding 600 concert, three week celebration hosted by 100 venues and 25 organisations around Denmark from intimate jazz clubs to the iconic DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen. There is a mixture of free and paid concerts so no matter your budget you can be part of this annual musical extravaganza. Don’t miss out!
