Travel blogger Daisy from My Travel Tricks visits Copenhagen on her Famous Hostels Eurotrip
After winning the trip of a lifetime across Europe with the Famous Hostels Eurotrip competition, Daisy has arrive in Copenhagen for her 7th stop on her trans-European adventure. Kicking off in Athens and then heading to Rome, Nice, London, Paris and Amsterdam before arriving to see us here in Copenhagen!
The competition
After competing hard against other travel bloggers who had been writing about Famous Hostels, Daisy from My Travel Tricks manageThe prize was a full month’s first class Interrail Pass and a stay in as many Famous Hostels locations across Europe as she could fit in! Who wouldn’t want to win that??
The plan…
"And now, now it’s time for a trip I’ve always wanted to take. A month of Interrailing across Europe! I love Europe, the continent where I’m from and that has got so much to offer. Where else in the world you can travel between countries with so much culture and variety so easily? In one month I will visit 11 destinations in 10(!) different countries."
What Daisy thought of Copenhagen
"Copenhagen, with its colourful harbour, biking culture and a hippie town in the middle of the center, is one of the coolest cities in Europe. Since I always wanted to get a taste of the Nordic culture it seemed the perfect place to go.”
Staying at Copenhagen Downtown Hostel
Here’s what she had to say about our lovely hostel!
"From my room I had a stunning view over the city and could easily walk to all the places I wanted to see. There is a bar/restaurant at the hostel with the best pizzas ever – so make sure to try them when you’re around. The hostel also has a free walking tour leaving every morning and has a delicious breakfast buffet."
