What to See and Do in Copenhagen this March
Spring is in the air! March is a great time to visit Copenhagen as the long winter has come to an end with spring weather on the way, the streets are coming back to life, flowers in the parks, and maybe some sunshine on the cafe terraces. The largest food market in Copenhagen and all of the Nordics opens again March 20th for the season as Reffen Food Market is back. This is one of our favourite cultural spots with top views and music, along with the tastiest street food. Also don’t miss a caffeine hit at the Danish Coffee Festival 21st-23rd March where over 50 brews are exhibiting. At the end of March we have our International Documentary Film Festival, CPH:DOX, and there are plenty of places to visit before the crowds come in summer. Here are our tips on what to see and do in Copenhagen this March!
CPH:DOX - Copenhagen's International Documentary Film Festival

Taking place in March each year and including a film market, conference, and Film Lab, CPH:DOX is well recognised on the international stage for documentary film festivals.
Enjoy Taking a Walk along our Canals, or a Tour!
This is the time of year when it's not too cold and it's not too crowded, perfect for enjoying the city streets while they are a little emptier and you have space to enjoy the fresh air and views! Enjoy the canals the surround the city centre, or try the charming Enghaveparken, a peaceful park in the heart of Vesterbro for a stroll.
Though it might still be a bit fresh on the water, taking a boat tour of Copenhagen’s canals is a great way to see the city in a different way, as well as the architectural landscape. These tours offer a unique perspective of the city, passing by charming neighborhoods and iconic landmarks like the Little Mermaid statue.
